How it Started
Hi Honey, I'm Michele, founder of Myshelz. An entrepreneur with a passion for clean eating and living, I'm known by my friends and family for making nutritious and delicious creations. I eat clean, try to avoid chemicals and all that's artificial and toxic. I couldn't wait for what I wanted and needed to eat on the marketplace, so I created it! You are what you consume. So, put good things into your body, and into your life! I have a terrific team of partners with food and manufacturing backgrounds who have helped me bring these treats to market!

Michele Harris, Founder and President
Michele Harris is founder and President of Myshelz, where she is responsible for product development, operations, branding, sales, and marketing. Michele is a seasoned marketing and business development expert with over 25 years' experience developing revenue-rich programs for global business, emerging startups and marketing agencies. A serial entrepreneur, Michele is founder and CEO of Smarti Solutions, a leading agency selection firm for the mid-size marketplace. Michele has managed hundreds of reviews for advertising agencies, public relations firms, branding, digital, media and marketing companies, across business industries. Prior, Michele was Vice President of Marketing & Business Development at global advertising agency Lowe Lintas, and Director of Business Development at digital marketing agency, Blue Marble ACG, where she landed multi-million-dollar clients Cadillac, Medscape & Nabisco. Earlier in her career at agencies K2 Digital and Dentsu Advertising, she developed national advertising and digital marketing programs for major brands ranging Procter & Gamble, Hewlett Packard, Standard and Poor's, Canon USA and Japan Airlines. She has been covered by Media Post; PR Week; Crain's BtoB Magazine, CNN Money Magazine, The New York Times, The New York Post and Inc. Magazine and received a NY Small Business Award for entrepreneurial innovation from Mayor Bloomberg. For fun, Michele enjoys cooking, long nature walks, snorkeling, rock'roll and live music.
Edward LaFaso, Co-Founder & CEO
Edward LaFaso is CEO of Myshelz, where he is responsible for strategy, investor relations, brand positioning, public relations, and food safety and quality. Prior to this he was Vice President and the Sr. Risk Consultant for Lockton Companies, the world’s largest privately held insurance brokerage. Before this, he was the Global Head of Risk Management, Safety, and Insurance for DocGo, the nation’s leading publicly traded ambulance service and mobile health care provider. Previously, he was the Sr. Director, EH&S / Risk Management for FreshDirect, an Ahold Delhaize affiliate with $80B revenues, where he was responsible for risk mitigation, employee safety, and food quality. Prior to this, he was the head of Risk Management for GateGroup, the world’s largest food production/catering and logistics firm. Previously, Edward was President & CEO of Full Body Scanning, a publicly traded national chain of advanced diagnostic imaging centers. Prior, he was Director of Strategy and Communications for Sutter Health, a leading healthcare system. Before this, he was a Communications Manager with Kraft Foods and rolled out more than 50 popular consumer brands. Edward began his career as an award-winning journalist on a daily newspaper. Over the years, he's had more than 1,000 published articles and frequently appeared on network news programs and radio talk shows. For fun, Edward is a consummate waterman, surfing, snorkeling, and swimming. He's a seasoned professional rock drummer and martial artist.
